Dear Students and Families,

Today Trudeau announced that international flight arrivals will now be limited to Montréal, Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver, and that our borders will be closed to those who are not returning Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

The Public Health Agency of Canada still states that "At present, school closures are not recommended for the prevention of COVID-19." See Page 1 of the attached public health guidance, originally issued on February 28th, but updated twice daily, and most recently as of 9 a.m. this morning.

The link is at https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection/health-professionals/guidance-schools-childcare-programs.html

www.ticedu.ca will also update daily

So, Toronto International College will be open for staff/teachers to offer online classes through Google classroom. Updates occur daily so see the above URL.
Students have the option to take online classes only or to come to school as planned.
The current situation is for classes to resume as normal by April 6th.
